Dave Shepherd is a Country and Bluegrass musician out of Southwest Pennsylvania. Childhood memories of family time in West Virginia on a background of the 1990's left a tangible mark on his musical style.
Before taking the leap to become a solo artist, Dave spent his early years in Philadelphia working as a sideman for many local, regional and national acts, including the Robert Mabe Band, Ocean City Maryland local favorite Nate Clendenen and most notably Audie Blaylock and Redline. Dave's sound is appealing to all, especially fans of fans of Neil Young, Bill Monroe, Old 97's, Hazel Dickens, Ramblin' Jack Elliot, and even the Dead.
Dave made the move to Pittsburgh and the pandemic hit shortly after. With no shows on the Horizon Dave focused on writing and recording.
His newest single "Strugglin" will be dropping on 12/16.
Dave has recently opened for Twisted Pine, TK and the Holy Know Nothings and many more. Whether Dave is performing solo or has his backing band he really knows how to draw the crowds attention.
